The Hitchcock Independent School District Board of Trustees met at a Special Called meeting on Monday, February 26, 2007, at Stewart Elementary School located at 7013 Stewart, Hitchcock, Texas.  President Pat Turner called the meeting to order at 6:35 PM.

 

Present             Pat Turner, President; Ted Robinson, Jr., Vice President; Mark Morgan, Member; Jimmy                                                     Anderson, Member; Monica Cantrell, Member; Tom Ivey, Member

 

Late Arrival        Estelle Holmes, Secretary, arrived at 6:40 PM

 

Others              Lee Knapp, Interim Superintendent

 

Call to Order      Pat Turner, President, called the meeting to order at 6:35 PM; announced the presence

                        of a quorum and stated that the meeting had been duly called and the notice had been                                                        posted in the manner prescribed by law.

 

Closed Session

                        Pat Turner, President, called the members of the Board of Trustees into Closed Session

                        at 6:36 PM for the purposes permitted as authorized by the Texas Open Meeting Act,

                        Texas Government Code 551.074 Personnel:  Interview superintendent candidates and                                                        deliberate the possible appointment/employment of same

 

Reconvene from

Closed Session

                        The members of the Board of Trustees reconvened from Closed     Session at 9:32 PM for                                                   action, if any.

 

                        No action.

 

Adjourn

                        A motion was made by Ted Robinson, Jr. and seconded by Tom    Ivey to adjourn the                                                          meeting.  Motion carried with all in favor.  The meeting was adjourned at 9:32 PM.
