5th & 8th Grade Crosby Students Enjoy TAME Trailblazer
October 09, 2007
Crosby’s 5th and 8th grade students enjoyed visiting the Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering Trailblazer, a 40’ trailer packed full of hands-on engineering, science exhibits and career pointers. The goal of TAME is an engineering profession whose diversity more accurately reflects the state’s population. Hundreds of volunteers are involved in programs that introduce students to engineering while motivating kids to participate in academic activities that are worthwhile, safe, and that could possibly lead to the option of university enrollment in a technical career. Special thanks to Mrs. Sandra Kelley for helping arrange the Crosby TAME Trailblazer visit.
