Crosby ~ Staff Development

Staff Development for the professional staff at Crosby Middle School was provided on Monday, October 15, 2007, by Dr. Joyce Armstrong Carroll and Edward E. Wilson, both writers, teachers, and directors of Abydos Learning International (formerly the New Jersey Writing Project in Texas). Using brain-based research and modeling authentic teaching strategies, Joyce and Eddie presented useful strategies and novel methods for teaching reading, writing, thinking and creative expression in preparation for TAKS.
