UTMB Science Institute for Middle School Students
Two Crosby Middle School students were recently chosen from a field of Galveston County applicants to attend the UTMB Spring Science Institute. These students filled out an application to be involved in science activities held on Saturdays this spring.
Sixth Graders Tatyana Bob and Amber Williams report that they enjoy the activities and being with other students from schools around the county. Some of the activities that they have participated in so far include dissecting owl pellets, making color combinations with 3D glasses, and the dissection of a frog.
Their participation will conclude at the end of May with a reception and certificates of participation presented to them.
