Gift for Retirees

Several fifth and sixth grade Gifted and Talented students designed
and made “retirement books” for retiring educators Mr. Carlos Ponce
and Coach Louis Sanchez. The students came up with the idea and
then conducted interviews with them to find out some of their
favorite memories. The students then went to work and created the
booklets, which were presented during a faculty luncheon Friday
afternoon. The students were Murphy Tuck, Alyssa Esparza, Wayland
Hurst, and Emily Desormeaux.
