Helpful Tips for Successful Testing
  1. Make sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before the test. Sufficient rest equals better concentration during the test.
  2.  Make sure your child eats a well balanced breakfast the morning of the test. Food fuels the brain.
  3.Tell your child to take a deep breath and relax before starting their test. Tell them to do the best they can while maintaining proper time management in order to get all of the questions answered.
  4.Tell your child to always go with their first choice. Usually the first choice is the correct choice.
   5.Make sure to tell your child to never leave any answers blank. Tell them to choose the best possible answer.
   6.Encourage your child to stay focused on the exam and not daydream or let their mind wander. Staying focused on the questions gives them a better chance at success. Remind them of the importance of the test.
    7. Make sure to wish your child good luck on the day of the test. Tell them you believe in them and they can do it!

  • Keep private information private (including: your real name, address, school, family names, phone number, etc.)
  • Don't "Friend" someone you don't know in person.
  • Protect your Internet passwords and change them regularly.
  • Never meet someone in person that you met online.
  • Immediately tell a parent/adult if someone online does something that makes you feel threatened or uncomfortable.
