We’re gearing up for an exciting week of Homecoming festivities, and we invite the entire community to be a part of the celebration! Hitchcock High School’s Homecoming 2024 will take place from October 7th to October 11th, culminating in the big game against Hallettsville on Friday, October 11th. Mark your calendars and get ready for a week full of spirit, tradition, and Bulldog pride!
We’re gearing up for an exciting week of Homecoming festivities, and we invite the entire community to be a part of the celebration! Hitchcock High School’s Homecoming 2024 will take place from October 7th to October 11th, culminating in the big game against Hallettsville on Friday, October 11th. Mark your calendars and get ready for a week full of spirit, tradition, and Bulldog pride!
Homecoming Spirit Week: October 7-11, 2024 Students and staff will be dressing up each day of the week with the following themes:
- Monday, 10/7 – Hawaiian Day 🌺
- Tuesday, 10/8 – Camouflage Day 🦅
- Wednesday, 10/9 – Wild West Day 🤠
- Thursday, 10/10 – Throwback Thursday 🎶
- Friday, 10/11 – Rally the Spirit of Bulldog Pride in Red and White ❤️🤍
We encourage the entire community, including local businesses and families, to join in the fun by dressing up and spreading the Bulldog spirit!
Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally: October 9, 2024 Our annual Homecoming Parade will take place on Wednesday, October 9th. Here's the schedule of events:
- 5:30 PM – Line up for Parade at Old City Hall, 7423 Hwy 6
- 6:00 PM – Parade begins
- 6:30 PM – Community Pep Rally at Hitchcock High School Football Stadium
Come out and line the streets to cheer on our students, athletes, and community members as they parade through town. Following the parade, join us for the Community Pep Rally to get pumped up for Friday’s big game!
Homecoming Game: October 11, 2024
The Hitchcock Bulldogs will take on the Hallettsville Brahmas on Friday, October 11th at Bulldog Country!
- Kickoff at 7:00 PM
- Tailgating from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the stadium parking lot
It’s going to be an unforgettable night, filled with school spirit, Bulldog pride, and community support. We encourage everyone to come early, tailgate with friends and family, and pack the stands for an incredible evening under the lights.

Hitchcock Bulldogs' standout athlete Kelshaun Johnson is set to reveal his college commitment on Monday, July 8th at 4:15 PM in the Hitchcock High School gymnasium. Kelshaun, one of our many talented players, has drawn the attention of top-tier programs including UT, Texas A&M, Arkansas, USC, and Texas Tech, receiving 24 offers to date.
Hitchcock Bulldogs' standout athlete Kelshaun Johnson is FINALLY set to reveal his college commitment on Tuesday, July 16th at 5:30pm in the Hitchcock High School gymnasium after a week delay from Hurricane Beryl. Kelshaun, one of our many talented players, has drawn the attention of top-tier programs including UT, Texas A&M, Arkansas, USC, and Texas Tech, receiving 24 offers to date.
Kelshaun’s versatility and explosive playmaking abilities have made him a sought-after recruit. His journey from a multi-phase playmaker in Texas 3A football to a potential collegiate star is a testament to his hard work and dedication.
Athletic Director Craig Smith says, “Kelshaun embodies the spirit of the Hitchcock Bulldogs. His talent, work ethic, and leadership on and off the field make him a standout. We couldn’t be prouder of him.”
