📢 HHS to Transition to a Closed Campus – Effective February 24, 2025

Hitchcock High School will implement a closed campus policy starting February 24, 2025. This decision was made to increase student safety, minimize policy violations, and improve academic focus.

Key Changes:

✔ Two-Lunch Schedule: Students will remain on campus for a 40-minute lunch period.
✔ Food Drop-Off Policy: Only parents/guardians listed in Skyward may drop off food within the designated time:

  • A Lunch (9th & 10th Grade): 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
  • B Lunch (11th & 12th Grade): 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM
    ✔ No Outside Food Deliveries: Services like DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub are no longer permitted.
    ✔ Tutoring & Clubs: Before/after-school tutoring remains available and select lunch clubs/tutoring require teacher-issued passes.
    ✔ Senior Privileges: Will be reviewed after spring break.
