HISD Welcomes Jaree Hefner as New Digital Media and Marketing Specialist

HITCHCOCK, TX – November 28, 2023 - The Hitchcock Independent School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaree Hefner as the Digital Media and Marketing Specialist, a strategic move aimed at enhancing the district's communication and outreach efforts.
In her new role, Ms. Hefner will be responsible for spearheading digital media and marketing initiatives to promote the district's educational programs, engage with the community, and strengthen its online presence. With a background in both digital media and a mom who is passionate about education, she is well-equipped to take on this pivotal role.
Ms. Hefner brings a wealth of experience to Hitchcock ISD, having previously worked for over 15 years in municipal government in various communications roles. Her creative vision and innovative ideas are expected to play a crucial role in elevating the district's brand and connecting with stakeholders.
Superintendent Travis Edwards expressed his enthusiasm for this appointment, stating, "We are delighted to welcome Jaree Hefner to our team.
