The scholarship is called "The Paradigm Challenge" which is provided by the Paradigm Foundation in Los Angeles, California. This scholarship is open to students from ages 4-18. The competition is global and is open to teams as well as individuals. Adults may also assist.

 The scholarship is called "The Paradigm Challenge" which is provided by the Paradigm Foundation in Los Angeles, California. This scholarship is open to students from ages 4-18. The competition is global and is open to teams as well as individuals. Adults may also assist.

   The reward for the scholarship winners is up to $100,000 US Dollars for the top 100 entries. The first place winners in each age division (4-8, 9-13, 14-18) win a trip to Los Angeles to attend the Paradigm Prize Ceremony. Teachers associated with the top 100 entries win grants of up to $5,000 US Dollars.

   Topics to be addressed are 1) home fires, 2) waste reduction,3) personal health,4) food security, and 5) biodiversity. Presentations may be in various forms.
