School/Community Involvement
The Hitchcock ISD Police Department understands how critical the establishment and maintenance of trust with our students, fellow staff, and community is. In order to nurture this trust, we continuously strive to build and maintain lasting, meaningful relationships with all those we serve on a daily basis.
Below, you will find descriptions and photos of school/community engagement events we either host or participate in. We love supporting our schools and community, if you ever need assistance or would like our presence at an event, please do not hesitate to reach out to Chief Filidei at cfilidei@hitchcockisd.org or 409-316-6545.
The Hitchcock Police Department participated in Hitchcock Primary School's Career Day, showcasing what police officers do on an every day basis to students as they explore what potential careers they would want to pursue when they grow up.
This year, The HISD Police Department hosted its 3rd annual "Treats not Tickets" campaign. With the help of generous donors AMOCO Federal Credit Union, Chapman's Front End & Brakes, Diamond Hydraulics, and Prosperity Bank, the department is able to spread holiday cheer throughout the community in the the weeks leading up to Winter Break with Jack in the Box, Starbucks, and Subway gift cards.
