How to Scan Documents from Your Phone

• iPhone
  • Open Notes and tap the camera button. You will be prompted to Scan a Document or Take a Photo or Video.
  • Choose Scan Document, lay out the documents that you want to scan, and it will save them as a PDF
• Android
  • Open the Google Drive app
  • In the bottom right, tap Add
  • Tap Scan
  • Take a photo of the document you'd like to scan. Adjust scan area: Tap Crop. Take photo again: tap re-scan current page. Scan another page: tap Add
  • To save the finished document, tap Done

My child attended Hitchcock ISD last year but withdrew before the end of the school year. What do I need to do to enroll them?

Your child will be considered a New Student for enrollment purposes.

If you still have access to your Skyward Family Access account, click the drop-down arrow next to the Home icon and select New Student Online Enrollment to submit a new enrollment application for your returning Bulldog.

I currently have a student attending Hitchcock ISD. I have another child who is new to the district. How do I enroll them?

You can enroll your new student using your existing Skyward Family Access account.

After logging in, click the drop-down arrow next to the Home icon and select New Student Online Enrollment to submit an enrollment application for your student's sibling.

I do not have a computer or internet access at home. Can I still enroll my child?

Yes. Registration can be completed using any computer, tablet, or mobile device with internet access.

The Hitchcock Public Library is located at 8005 Barry Ave and is open 10am to 5pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday), 10am to 6pm (Thursday), 10am to 3pm (Saturday). They offer public computers with internet access and are a great resource for helping you through the process.

Once I complete the online enrollment forms, am I finished with the enrollment process?

As long as all required forms and supporting documents have been submitted, your enrollment application is complete.

If additional information or documentation is needed, your campus registrar will contact you with instructions to finalize your child's enrollment.

 Guardianship Packets

If a student will be enrolled by someone other than their legal parent or guardian, a Guardianship Packet must be completed and formally approved by the district.

Important Notes:

• Guardianship forms will not be posted online or distributed to campus PEIMS Clerks.
• All requests for packets must go through our Truancy Officer, Jennifer Rivera.
• If the arrangement is not court-ordered and a student is living with a grandparent or other caregiver, a Guardianship Packet is still required.
