Visitor Requirements

At Hitchcock ISD, student safety is our top priority. To ensure a secure environment for all students and staff, we require that all visitors—including parents, guardians, family members, and volunteers—check in at the front office with a valid, government-issued photo ID.

We utilize the Raptor Visitor Management System, a trusted tool used by school districts across the nation to instantly screen visitors against national sex offender databases, custody alerts, and other custom safety flags. Once cleared, guests are issued a printed visitor badge that must be visibly worn while on campus.

Visitor badges are valid only for the campus where they were issued and must be returned to the front office before leaving. If you plan to visit more than one campus in a single day, you will need to check in separately at each location and obtain a new badge at each stop. This ensures accurate tracking and maintains the safety protocols specific to each campus.

This process allows our staff and security teams to know exactly who is in the building at all times—and more importantly, who should not be. It supports a safe, secure learning environment for every student and helps us respond quickly in the event of an emergency.

Whether attending a parent-teacher conference, a classroom celebration, or a campus-wide assembly, all visitors will be screened upon entry and must comply with our campus procedures.

School principals reserve the right to limit or modify visits to minimize disruptions to the learning environment.

We appreciate your partnership in keeping our campuses safe, welcoming, and organized for every Bulldog.
