Candidate Applications
To apply for a position on the ballot, please pick up a Candidate Application and Information packet at the Hitchcock ISD Administration Building. You must be a registered voter and must live within the boundaries of the District you wish to apply. For additional information on these and other qualifications, please see Board Policy BBA (Legal) following this document.
The District will accept applications on regular business days from January 14, 2026 - February 13, 2026, between the hours of 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
*Applications must be received by the end of business on February 13, 2026.*
